GREEN
BALANCE
Your first learning principle- ‘Attention to details’ begins here by reading this document.

Namaste,
Green Balance by fraKture lab. is a 4-day experiential event that invites you to engage in creative and conscious living in the Garhwal region of the mid-Himalayan range. The experience will have a total of 18+ hours of focused sessions comprising (but not limited to) storytelling, photography, music, soundscape, nature connection, mountain agriculture, and rural development. This experience is thoughtfully curated by fraKture lab.

Our focus will be on experiential learning comprising theory, presentations, hands-on field work, and one-on-one mentorship. The sessions are designed in a way that lets you learn in a community setup and also thrive in your individual capacities. The space will allow you to reflect on your personal and professional goals and aspirations, while being guided by your natural instincts (and the mentors of course!)
Though no formal deliverable is expected out of the experience, we would encourage you to devote most of your time immersing yourself in the activities around you and working on a photo story/essay.

It's time for disruption, reflection and reconnection.
We’re hoping that Green Balance will not only allow you to develop a deeper bond with the natural world but also introduce you to the art of mindful photography.
The experience allows you a space to delve in:
-
Basic techniques to photography (mobile/camera)
-
Mindfulness and the medium of photography
-
Deep observation of existing systems in the village: farming, livestock, traditional cooking, community challenges, etc.
-
Storytelling through images
-
The philosophy of sound and sound-scaping
-
Nature connection activities: forest bathing, identifying local flora and fauna, etc.
