My public work operates where storytelling meets structure.

Across global leadership labs, queer healthcare reform, cross-border artistic exchange, and community media spaces, I design frameworks that allow marginalised communities to author their own narratives and access institutional power.

What began as filmmaking has expanded into building ecosystems — spaces where story becomes infrastructure.

Global Systems Leadership

Senior Fellow — Melton Foundation

In 2024, I was selected as a Senior Fellow within a global network of changemakers working across equity, governance, and social innovation.

As Co-Lab Coach in Accra, Ghana (2024) and Global Citizenship Learning Program Trainer in Jena, Germany (2025), I designed and led immersive leadership labs with participants from 20+ countries working on the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

My facilitation integrates:

• Storytelling as systems intervention
• Cross-cultural dialogue
• Participatory design frameworks
• Community-anchored strategy

This work connects grassroots realities to global structures - not as abstraction, but as lived practice.

Narrative Infrastructure & Community Media

Satrangi Screen

Founder & Project Director

2023–Present

Supported through the Global Solvers Accelerator and Seed Award from the Melton Foundation, Satrangi Screen repositions cinema as a shared civic tool rather than an elite industry.

The initiative mentors trans youth in filmmaking, editing, and public exhibition while creating screening spaces beyond institutional walls.

Here, filmmaking becomes authorship training.
Representation shifts into self-determined narrative power.

2021–Present

Queer Health & Structural Care

United for Transgender Health

Co-Founder & Facilitator

United for Transgender Health was created to address systemic barriers within healthcare institutions in India.

Our work includes:

• A national directory of queer-affirmative healthcare providers
• Workshops in shelter homes and community spaces
• The co-creation of Queering Healthcare, an 84-page handbook for medical practitioners and educators

The handbook was developed during the Knowledge Hub Fellowship with The Young People Foundation (2021–22), where I worked on embedding LGBTQIA+ health discourse into institutional learning systems.

This work moves beyond awareness toward structural accountability.

2021–2022

Advocacy Fellowship & Institutional Engagement

Knowledge Hub Fellow

The Young People Foundation

As an Advocacy Fellow, I worked at the intersection of youth leadership, policy literacy, and queer healthcare reform. The fellowship provided the framework through which Queering Healthcare evolved into a pedagogical and institutional resource.

The emphasis was not visibility alone, but curricular transformation.

2021–2022

Cross-Border Cultural Diplomacy

Seeds of Peace Alumni — US Consulate Collaboration

As part of a cross-border Indo-Pak initiative commissioned by the US Consulate through Seeds of Peace, I worked on Eik Tha Kabootar, filmed across India and Pakistan.

The project extended artistic collaboration into diplomatic terrain, foregrounding storytelling as a bridge across contested geographies.

2016–2021

Community Media & Capacity Building

Through partnerships with:

• Mitr Trust / Garima Greh
• Rehab India Foundation
• GoodWeave India

I facilitated mobile storytelling workshops, filmmaking labs, and participatory media training across rural and urban India.

These initiatives decentralize authorship, shift visual power into community hands, and treat narrative literacy as civic agency.

2017–Present

Pedagogy as Systems Design

My educational work extends this public practice into formal institutions.

As Graduate Teaching Assistant at Boston University and Assistant Professor at University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, I designed and facilitated courses integrating film production, cultural critique, and ethical storytelling.

I view pedagogy as infrastructure — a site where narrative literacy, critical inquiry, and strategic imagination are cultivated.

Through mentorship programs, fellowships, and leadership labs, I continue to work with emerging filmmakers, activists, and MBA students to integrate storytelling into advocacy, governance, and systems thinking.
